Should I purchase an iPad2?

Or, maybe I should buy antother tablet computer?

If yes to the iPad, sould I get 32G or 64G?

Currently, I have Logos 4 (Scholar'sLibrary) on my desktop,

I'm still using the iPad#1, but it's great for me. I'll probably be using this one when iPad#4 comes out.... Always get the electronic device that has the most storage space! You never know how much space you'll need until you run out of it.

If you're buying now, I'd recommend an iPad 2 with a SmartCover. I have both an original iPad and this iPad 2 and the latter is faster, the SmartCover a very nice addition, and its smaller size makes it even more versatile.
Given the wide range of apps available (including Logos), its size and weight, and the overall system design, at this point I see no real competitors.

To use Logos on another tablet currently needs Windows 7.  Logos has yet to ship an Android application.

Storage amount depends on other apps, photos, and videos.  Logos 4 Scholar's Library has ~ 5 GB of iPad usable resources (if downloaded all).

I am using an IPad1, I would agree buy the largest amount of storage you can. I have 64 gig.

I have a 1st-gen iPad, with 16gb.  It's more than enough for me.  I don't have every Logos resource downloaded, and see no need to do so.  As long as you're connected to the internet you can read them over the cloud and search them over the cloud.  I only download those that I use frequently enough that I might need them on the rare occasions when I'm not in a wifi zone using my iPad.  If you plan on putting all your music on your iPad then yes, get the biggest one you can.  But if you have an ipod or mp3 player for listening to music (or if you don't do much listening to music) then 16gb is probably enough.  I've had mine since it was released and don't regret the small size at all.

As for iPad2, I can't speak to it since I haven't used one.  As someone said, it is faster.  Not sure that makes much of a difference with the Logos app, but perhaps it does.  I don't see anything in it that would justify selling my current iPad and paying the difference to upgrade.

As for other tablets, I'd go with Android over Windows, but iPad over Android.  Logos will eventually come out with a Android app and so don't make your decision based on that.  You don't want to regret your decision 6 months from now.  Android tablets will offer you better specs per $$, but IMO the iPad apps are more user-friendly and the software more stable.  (I base this on my use of my iPad and my Android EVO phone).  So, if you're a techie and want the most processing power for your buck, go with the Android and hope Logos comes through soon as I'm sure they will.  But if you're like the average user and need something that's intuitive and a higher chance of "just working", go with the iPad.  You won't regret it.

I suppose that makes sense for many.  But for a different perspective:

I went with 32G.  I have about 2500 Logos resources downloaded, about 50 apps (Netflix, MLB.com, etc.), 3 movies, 6 TV programs, 260+ songs, 3 unabridged audio books, about 20 non-logos ebooks (novels, etc.), 10 magazines (like National Geographic, etc.), over 100 pictures, and lots of other data.

I still have about 11 G free, and I am glad I didn't pay for the 64G.  32 G has been just fine for me.  I am perfectly happy with my iPad 1.  Since the screen is of exactly the same quality in iPad 2, and I find iPad 1 plenty fast, I do not have in interest in upgrading to iPad 2.  Maybe iPad 3 if they upgrade the screen.

I just purchased the 32GB. It was a little cheaper and the 64 GB wasn't available. I have a lot of movies and music on it and still have around 10GB free. Most of what I have is music and I don't listen to a lot of it very often because I use the Pandora app when I'm on WiFi to listen to music, so if I remove most of my music and videos (Movies) that I'm not currently using that will free up around 15GB. In short as long as I don't go crazy and try to keep everything on my iPad 32 Gb is plenty.

As for another tablet the only other ones out there are mainly Android. One of the issues some developers have had is the fragmentation with Android. Different versions for different hardware and while an app may work great on one Android it might have issues on another because of different hardware/os. This could be why Logos has been working so long on the Android app (just my speculation).

The main thing an iPad2 will give you is some more speed and video out capability for all apps. The original iPad was limited on the video out capability, so if your not concerned about video out the the original iPad should work fine.
