New Computer, Long Download

I just got a new MacBook Pro and I am trying to download Logos 4 but it is taking forever to to download the updates (5 gigs worth). I don't think it should take hours for this to get done, help!?

I am afraid that the standard answer is to go to bed and leave it.
Download and reindex can take an awful long time depending for the first part on the speed of your internet connection.

Using Apple's Activity Monitor to watch network download speed, personally average 97 KB/sec, which takes 54,050 seconds (15 hours) to download 5 GB (5,368,709,120 Bytes).
