Upgrade to Gold, then Platinum

I'll probably call in the morning to ask this question directly, but I thought I'd throw it out to the forums first to see if anyone else has come across the answer.

If I upgrade my v3 Gold to v4 Gold, and later want to move to v4 Platinum, will I just have to pay the difference shown on my upgrade page today, or will there be additional cost to go this route?

thanks,

nathan

From what I read earlier today, you will get a readjusted upgrade price anytime you add new resources.  so you will not lose out by upgrading.  That being said, confirm that iwith sales and post back what you find out.

Nathan, on my upgrade page I have a 15% discount on an upgrade to Gold and a 20% discount to upgrade to platinum.  I would imagine that even if Logos will give you a one-to-one value for your previously spent dollar on future upgrades (and I don't know if they do), you might lose out on a bigger discount for making the jump to platinum all at once.

    Hi Nathan,

Likely, the current discounts are deeper than they will be after some period of time. I'm not sure folks at Logos would be able to tell you much more than "probably through the end of the year," as some have commented (unofficially) elsewhere on these forums. Usually, as others have suggested, the best discount is for the biggest upgrade. The combined cost of multiple smaller upgrades is usually higher.

Of course, as with all free advice you get, your mileage may vary...[;)]

    Grace & Peace,
