I was trying out the Pericope and I do not think I know what it is as I have the KJV1900 in my library, yet I cannot see it as an option and yet I see the NKJV, ESV, NIV etc., ?
There are at least two meanings of the word "pericope". One is a reading (or lesson) in a lectionary, the other is the reading between headings in Bible's that add headings to the paragraphs in the Bible text. The latter is what the Logos compare pericopes does. The KJV 1900 does not add the titles so it does not appear in Compare pericopes.

Additionally, I think "pericope" carries with it the nuance of being a self-contained unit. From the Wikipedia:
A pericope (pronounced /pəˈrɪkəpiː/; Greek περικοπή, "a cutting-out") in rhetoric is a set of verses that forms one coherent unit or thought, thus forming a short passage suitable for public reading from a text, now usually of sacred scripture.
