BUG: Beta 4.5 Passage Analysis

After seeing the bug fix for the previous display issues with the passage analysis tool I joyfully began playing with this today. Been working great, but now I have noticed that L4 beta 4.5 keeps crashing from the passage analysis.

Having used the word tree successfully I began to look at a couple of the other tools, as not really bothered before, I clicked on the cluster graph which loaded fine, but when I tried to switch back the the word tree L4 would crash.

I tried this a couple of times, before I thought..... ahhhh maybe if I work around it by clicking on something else. So I loaded up the passage analysis tool and clicked on the version river only for it crash again.

Edit: Tried to reload passage analysis and try another workaround, and after the three initial crashes, outlined above, all seems to be working ok. Will monitor this and post logs if any more crashes occur

I could not reproduce this crash by switching between any other graph and back to Word Tree. However, the jerkiness of the display when dragging or zooming was quite frustrating.

Passage Analysis was the only window open for this experiment. Anything else I should try to duplicate your crash?

When it crashed for me I had a study layout open as well. But like I said, it all seems to be working for me now so not sure whether it was a random glitch...

The Crash log was from 5/5. We have disabled full logging from the Mac by default with Beta 5 to improve program performance (update to release notes and forum announcement coming). If Passage Analysis does start to crash again, please enable logging temporarily by pressing the Command key immediately after clicking the icon in the Dock and keeping Cmd held down until the Sign In window appears. Click Sign In button, and after the program loads, try to reproduce the problem and send new logs.

Are you sure that L4 Mac has progressed far enough for this to be a good move?

please enable logging temporarily by pressing the Command key immediately after clicking the icon in the Dock and keeping Cmd held down until the Sign In window appears.

That may discourage some users from gathering useful information.

Are you sure that L4 Mac has progressed far enough for this to be a good move?

For faster performance, changing diagnostic logging default to match Logos 4 PC should help.

Anticipate some Logos 4 Mac users always enabling diagnostic logging along with future forum discussions including Wiki reference about diagnostic logging.
