The cost, even at pre-publication discounted prices, may be an indication why it has not been offered before. Well over $100 for a collection that consists of 8 small-medium size general-reading volumes (i.e, not highly academic/study-level material, more focus on "Christian Living". typically 100-200 pages) and study/discussion guides to go with 7 of those 8 books. The Pursuit of Holiness, The Discipline of Grace, and The Practice of Godliness are each available in Kindle format for only $8 each. Despite the Logos advantages, I don't think the price justifies this purchase; "collections" and "pre-pub" are each supposed to offer better value for the $$; both together should = super-value. I don't see that here, so it's not going to be one my pre-pub purchases.

I agree that I wish the price was less. For me I think it is worth it as Jerry Bridges will be a very welcome addition to my collection. I have read and will therefore reference often almost every one of these. I hope enough people agree with me that this is a valuable enough collection to purchase to push it over the edge, but I do wish that Logos could work to drop the price a bit.

I agree with wanting a somewhat lower price, but have put my pre-order in for the collection.

EDIT: I note that WordSearch wants $211.20 for 16 volumes of Bridges. If you pick up the three other Bridges volumes in Logos format (for $33.00) and add the new collection at $105 you'll spend $138 for a couple more volumes than are in the WordSearch collection. So it is a better deal that way. I know WordSearch had a big sale on this collection a couple of months ago.
