Upgrade from V3 Silver to ???

I currently have V3.0g Silver and have been hesitating for quite some time to upgrade due to the cost. The site suggests the Platinum but it is even more daunting with the cost. I definitely want to get V4 but wonder if the Silver version will do me just fine at this time as I have been very happy and satisfied up to this point. Or do I even just go with the base upgrade to V4 without the whole package. I just don't know what the big benefit is for that additional cash when I already have most all the resources. Please help as I want to make a decision soon.

If you are happy with the resources you now have, then do the least expensive upgrade to V4. Logos' website will always "suggest" you upgrade to this or that you should get that - which is fine. But it doesn't mean that you have to!!! [:)]

Timothy, welcome to the forums!
As far as I understand it, the Logos "system" consists (simplified) of two different things: 1) the software, with search and display capabilities etc 2) the resources. This may not be obvious if you buy it as a package, but that's the way it works. You have V3.0g - this is the software, the most recent version of the Logos 3 / Libronix engine. And you have "Silver", which is a big package of resources.
Now the good news: the software is free - Libronix as well as Logos 4 may be freely downloaded. Logos makes money by selling resources. An upgrade to Gold, Platinum or Portfolio would mean to buy more resources, but not more (or different) software. The licences to the resources you have bought are stored on Logos' servers and they are valid for V.3 as well as for Logos 4.
You can simply download the Logos engine for free. There is a "minimal crossgrade" for around USD 70 that contains some graphically oriented resources that won't work in V3 and there may be crossgrades from V3 packages to the "approximately same" package in Logos 4. Of course Logos is interested in selleing a bigger package to you, but it seems taht you are satisfied with what you have right now. The options for you are laid out in http://www.logos.com/4ways - if there are more questions, the forum is here with lots of helpful users!
