Logos 3 to Logos 4 questions

I might have the possibility of obtaining a Logos 3 Cd-Rom package from a person who is no longer using Logos. I have a few questions (of course):
1. If I loaded the library resources and Logos 3 onto my computer, would I be able to overwrite Logos 3 with a free Logos 4 download and be able to access all the Logos 3 resources within Logos 4 (and utilizing the home page functionality/seach capabilities of Logos 4)?
2. A quick glance the Logos 3 Cd-Rom package doesn't lead me to believe that it has any reverse interlinears. Are these resources available for individual purchase at Logos? I did a search for " NRSV reverse interlinear" under products but the only item that came up was for a product in development for the NRSV apocrypha.
That's it for now. Thank you in advance to those who can provide answers. While I have questions about the Logos product line, I'm pretty convinced about the quality of the Logos community!

Short answer is yes but you would probably be better of paying for the Minimal Upgrade.

They are included in a number of packages, do you know what the Logos 3 package is?

The correct answer is "No." L3 (Libronix) and L4 (Logos 4) exist side by side just like ebony and ivory on the piano. You do not overwrite one with the other. You can use both -- even at the same time. You do get some things in L4 that you don't get with L3, but L3 has more functionality in certain areas.

make sure when you purchase this cd rom package.....it is done with logos on the line.......I am thinking of the 20 or 25 dollar transfer fee or the like. You do access all the L3 resources in L4. you will have double the library one set in L3 and the other in L4.
I think the reverse interlinears are part of the minimal crossgrade cost...

You can search all resources, but you can't perform a Morphological Search unless you have a resource with morphology. Nor can you perform a Syntax Search unless the L3 package has the Syntax tools addin (Syntax Search feature on L4 comparison chart below).

The package has to be a Base library above a certain level eg. Scholar's. But L3 only had 2 RI's (ESV, NRSV) whilst this comparison chart will show what is available in L4. You may have to upgrade or get the Minimal Crossgrade to have them (see http://www.logos.com/4ways).
