Logos 4 Indexing

Just a point of reference for Tech Support.

The indexing function of Logos is using less than %50 of available CPU power and far less of the available real memory.

In this screen shot I/O writes to the disk are almost zero, so disk is not the bottleneck

Lot's of hardware potential for the software to exploit.  The hardware is there but the software is not up to the task at this point.

The screenshot illustrates the point, half the cores are underutilized and the remaining half unused. Plenty of headroom on the RAM, disk and cpu lays idle.

Go forth and conquer :)

Like you, I have a quad core (8 threads) laptop, and I am amazed at the under-utilization of my system by Logos.  I normally see Logos only using around 100% out of 800% of the cpu's during indexing.  I believe that I did see it hit 200% onetime while doing a Bible Word study.
