Libronix bibles and resorces won't open after XP crash.

I am using Libronix (DVD which I received with an ESV bible some years ago) which upgraded my existing Logos 2.1 library, very successfully until an XP crash the other day. I have had XP reloaded and all my applications and data works fine except for Libronix.

I ran the LibronixUpdate.msi in the "inbound" followed by all the other msi files but all I get is the Libronix frame with no bibles or any other resources. What do I need to do to get it to work again?

You sound like you're an experienced Libronix3 user. Although the DVD install should have discovered your resources automatically, did you do the usual of manually discovering them (Tools > Library > Location Manager > your DVD)? Just trying to come up with ideas.

Guessing out of much less experience than you have: Maybe Restore Licences (if you had them backed up) or Synchronize Licences (with the Logos server) is needed to tell the "new" Libronix installation that you are the legitimate user of the resources?

Was your last installation 3.0g? That was the latest; and, if there is a problem, you may obtain that again from the Logos Website.

I think we on the Forums can assist you with that if you need it.

Brian, the advice to synchronize your licenses is a good start. However, you need to have your resources in your Resources folder before Libronix has anything to go on. They don't download automatically. If they are still on your hard drive you need to be sure Libronix knows where to look. This is found under Tools>Options>General>Resource Paths. If they are not there you need to open Libronix, insert any discs you have one at a time and let Libronix discover the resources on them and offer to transfer them to your hard drive. After all that is done, run Libronix Update from the Tools menu.

BTW: Is version 3.0g installed?
