Reading plan(s) -Mac and iPad

Is it possible to set up a second (additional) plan to be used for a separate study group and that would work on Mac and iPad? If so, how do I set up the second plan?

In Logos 4 File menu, can filter Reading plans. Also can Right Click on Reading Plan, then click one of the New choices to create another one:

Once reading plan created in Logos 4 Mac, may take awhile (minutes to hours) to appear on iPad.

File => Reading Plan (Right Click => New in a New Tab), then Clicked "All Passages":

Cursor is blinking in New Reference Range box (has blue highlight). Option: can click a pre-defined passage range (e.g. "New Testament").

Observation: ESV is my Top Bible ( refer to Prioritize Library ) so new Reading Plan has English Standard Version.

Even though I've deleted a few old reading plans, they still appear in section right under "All passages" and above "Entire Bible"

How do I remove them from that list?

Janis - You can delete a plan by control-clicking the reading plan under the "file" menu, and then select "delete."

KS4J - I wonder if the "x" is a feature of 4.3?

Screen capture was done using Logos 4.3 Release Candidate 1.

In process of installing and indexing 4.2b SR-2 to see if "X" is available; wish "X" was red since light blue "X" with white circle can be hard to see.

More crazy; learned Logos 4.2b SR-2 on Mac needs two separate clicks to delete a Reading Plan passage from drop-down list:

After clicking in box area (where "X" should be); red "X" appears, then can click red "X" to delete reading plan passage.

Looking at Logos 4 Release Notes noticed Logos 4.2b SR-2 was released Wed 13 July 2011.

Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Update Error section has steps for manually updating Logos 4 Mac version.

Observation: yesterday evening, Logos released Logos 4.3 Release Candidate 2 to the Beta channel (should be stable for daily use) that includes fix for a crash issue (opening saved layout with floating window in OS X Lion) in 4.3 Release Candidate 1.

Have now updated to SR-2, but even after rebootiing, Mac, I am not able to remove these old plans from the dropdown. SR-2 did not give an "X" or any other indication at end of row. Plans were deleted, but still appear on list. Thanks.

Did you check KS4J's "two step" process? First, click in the box area. Next, hover over the right side of the box and click the "red x." See if that works for you.

I went ahead and tried KS4J's method and it worked for me. I will tell you, however, that sometimes when I did the first "click" it would not "highlight" the box, but would rather make the selection quickly and close the dialog box. Keep trying, it should work eventually. [:)] "Control" clicking also seemed to help.

The box area in reading plan drop-down for passage is an approximation. By trial and error, learned clicking most of line changes passage for reading plan. With hovering mouse over passage (to highlight passage), then clicking once where "X" should be (quite close to scroll bar), caused red "X" to appear, then could click red "X" to delete passage from list in reading plan.

By the way, Logos 4.3 Release Candidate 3 shipped yesterday; anticipating stable 4.3 version very soon.

If you compare the screen shot KS4J posted in his third post (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/33560/272410.aspx#272410) with the others posted here, you'll see the difference between 4.2b SR-2 (red circle) and 4.3 (white circle). There was a change made during the 4.3 beta cycle to the styling of this drop down menu.

It might be best to wait until you have installed 4.3 and then test the issue again. At that point, if you are still unable to delete the custom ranges, you may want to give Customer Support a call: M-F, 6am-5pm, Pacific Time 1-800-875-6467 or send them an e-mail: customerservice@logos.com

Success, finally! Had to hold down control key then keep moving mouse in tiny increments slowly from right to left while continuing to click. Once the line stayed highlighted, I was able to click it away. The red or white (or blue!) X was never visible. Regardless, thanks to all for your help. This forum and its readers are wonderful.
