Is coveting wrong when you are coveting Logos Bible tools to study the Word better?

I think it really depends on your understanding and use of the word "covet". [:D]
If by covet, you mean "desire", "want" or "wish you had" then that's not coveting in the biblical sense. However, if you mean it literally in the biblical sense which means that you want what your neighbour already has, and want to deprive him of it so that you have it, then that is wrong. [6]
However, reading your post, I'm guessing that you really just wish you had more Logos resources, so I would reckon that's an aspiration/desire/want – and as such is not coveting in the biblical sense. [A]
