Learn "ALL" the functions of Logos 4

Is there something I can buy or some place within logos I can
go to learn "ALL" the functions of Logos 4. I have looked at every video
and every thing I find within the Logs website and every thing seems to be just
the basics. Even the Morris Proctor Videos I paid $225 for are only basics. There
should be something or some place where we can learn the total functionality
of this great program. i am not asking for a freebie. i will be glad to pay if thats what it takes.

Thanks Dave for responding. Yes I have tried every thing,
bought every book and video that Logos has to offer, read every thing that I can
read and still just a novice compared to
Rosie and some of the others. Now I may not be as smart as those people but I am
no dummy either. They had to learn it from something and I would like to have
the same opportunity. There are a 100 ways to do a search. I know Logos has videos
and reference materials on doing searches but still it doesn't cover them all. We
the users need a place in Logos website that we can go to that will instruct us
on all the functions of the software and it should be kept updated. If it cost
us money then so be it.

Praiser thanks for the reply and suggestion.
What I am saying is I have almost $3,000 invested in this program
and there should be someplace within the
website that I can go and reference the totality of the functions of this
software. Example: There are places I can go within MS WORD 2011 and also
Windows 7 and learn anything I kneed to know about the two software program. Don’t
get me wrong I love Logos but this is should been one of their first priorities when they first started. To expect usuries to
drive in some cases hundreds of miles and spend hundreds dollars on travel, Rooms
and food just for Morris Proctor to teach you the basics of this software and
offer videos and books for sale on their website that cover only the basics is just not right.

Sorry, Sam but we had no Guide/Instructions when we were testing the first beta of L4, so we were totally hands-on and asking questions. I don't know everything but what I do know I know well because it is the way I work, and what you do regularly is what you retain the best. You can spend thousands on a training course but you will forget it within 1 week if you don't use it. If you think you are missing something then just ask!

Dave you are exactly right thats more the reason Logos should furnish us with a complete reference page that outlines the entire functuality of the software.

Sam you may want to order the Logos Manual by Morris Procter. I have Volume I and II. Volume I goes beyond what you learn in the two day seminar. Volume II is strictly advanced stuff.

What I wish for is a Logos manual that works like a Logos book, with links to the functions, including videos. Something similar to windows. This can be included in all base packages, and updated when the software is updated.

Or the option of a $10.00 fee for the manual for packages below Level ..........

Lynden thats exactly what i am talking about and Logos should have furnished this with their packages like other software programs. Sure i will forget some of it if I dont use it on a regular basis but if i had all the functions at my finger tips i could always refer back to what i need. there is so much to this program and i am thankful for that but i would like to feel like i know it in its entirety. right now i really feel i am just scratching the surface and i have read and watched hours of videos.

Sam get the manuals. Volume 1 & 2 pretty much cover everything. After that it is up to your imagination.

Lynden I think I will take you up on that if you will give
me a link to the exact manuals you are talking about. I have some located on Logos website but I want to know
for sure they are the ones you are talking about. Lynden do you have the Morris Proctor videos. I
would want the manuals to be more advanced than the vides. The quality of the videos
are excellent but I was disappointed because they only covered the basics. Having
the program for 3years I had most of what he taught I already had down. I will
invest in the manuals if you tell me they are a lot more advance than the
videos.

When you go to the product pages you can see some sample pages and the table of contents. Hopefully that should give you a good idea as to whether they are comprehensive enough.

Thankful for friendly forum interaction; have learned a lot about Logos 4 and Libronix 3 while researching many questions (and trying to replicate some bugginess).

I'm glad you brought this up. I have been a long time user and love Logos. The problem is that I do not know all of what Logos can do. So without a type of manual or searching the videos or the wiki page, how will I know of a function that Logos can do? I will also order the manuals referred to in this thread. After investing so much money into Logos, it will be nice to go through the different functions and see if they will help me in a particular task. I also miss the days when software companies provided manuals detailing all of the various functions. Welcome to the new day when you will have to discover them or invest even more for a manual.

Actually, I'm not sure that's possible... and that's one of the things I LIKE about Logos: it's so powerful there's always something else to learn... another way I can stretch... In part, this is true because just knowing the "functions" doesn't really tell us all the ways they can be combined to produce the result that we're looking for. I learn more from other users than I ever would from a document.

Wiki page Getting Started with Logos could be used to enhance example document: links to many video tutorials along with WIki and Blog entries plus many usage Tips.

I am thankful to know there are thousands out there who are experiencing the same problem I have not knowing everything Logos bible software can do or perform. Several of you have suggested purchasing volume I and Volume 2 training guides that will help in understanding everything about the program. Even with those manuals I sense that some of you are still struggling with understanding the many ways to get the most out of the software without spending additional money and walking away dissatisfied.
