BHS for iPad
I am delighted that the library of books that I have already purchased is available on a variety of platforms, particularly the iPad.
I have in my library a copy of the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and this is available both on my PC and on the MAC (with the latest Logos software). However, on the iPad, this particular bible doesn't appear anywhere in my library. I can access all the other books (as far as I can tell), but the BHS is being missed.
Please can you advise if this is a bug, or a volume which is in the process of being adapted for the iPad. I look forward to hearing from you.
thanks,
Dave.

If you go to the resource page on the Logos website, you will see some icons under the photo of the resource. I don't know which version of Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia you have. Compare the two screen shots below. One of the resources is available on iOS devices, the other is not. Look for the iPhone icon.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. In fact the BHS I have is neither of these. It is called Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia - Morphologically Tagged Edition. On the MAC, I select Go>Library, it appears. A small pop-up window contains the text: "A revision of Kittel, Biblia Hebraica, prepared by H.P. Ruger...".
So I'm puzzled. FYI the BHS was included in the 54-volume bundle of WBC that I bought a few years ago.
Should I hold out hope that this may yet become available for the iPad? The tagging is usefui, and perhaps the version I have is the one with Westminster morphology, but I have no way of telling. Any further information on this would be most helpful.
thanks,
- Dave.

I am going to have to defer to others on this one, since I don't have (and can't find) the one you have. The version that I have is available on the iPad (Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia : with Werkgroep Informatica, Vrije Universiteit Morphology). It comes with scholar's silver and above. Also, the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia with Richter Morphology is being worked on. http://www.logos.com/comparison
I would guess that you are out of luck without purchasing another resource, but maybe someone else could shed some light.

Hi Justin,
Thanks for your
reply. In order to help you identify the version, here is the citation and description from Logos of my BHS:Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia : With Westminster Hebrew Morphology. 1996. Stuttgart; Glenside PA: German Bible Society; Westminster Seminary.

All my other
60-70 volumes all seem to be available on the iPad and I was hoping that the
fact that the BHS version that I have isn't available may be a matter of timing
until the features have been ported across (or whatever needs to be done).
Buying a stand-alone copy would be unjustifiably expensive, and
upgrading to Silver would duplicate some of what I have and give me access to
books that I don't really need at this point.I look forward to
hearing back from you,Dave.

My only suggestion is to call Logos. As for upgrading, it is my understanding that upgrade packages can be individualized for you - meaning if you already have some of the resources in the upgrade package, you will get some sort of discount.
Sorry I could not be of more help. Perhaps someone else can chime in!

Concur with suggestion to contact Logos (email or phone) => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
Also, Logos web page shows package upgrade discount => http://www.logos.com/upgrade (past sales history has better discounts in December)
Not know about iOS availability (licensing) for BHS Morphology version. Likewise not know about BHS/WIVU or BHS/WHM4.2 "upgrade" pricing options for use on iOS devices.
Keep Smiling [:)]
