Anyone out there have glo? or used it? it seems easy to navigate visually. and if u have it what uses do u employ out of it?
From what I understand, the Logos forum is "not the place" to discuss competitive software. Having said that, though, I've played with Glo a bit. The UI is pretty for just browsing around, but not very functional for doing searches, etc (search results "fly onto the results grid", etc). Glo also has very limited resources (5 or 6 English Bibles, no original language resources, etc) and has no morph searching, etc. Might be nice for my kids to browse around the Bible, look at pictures and videos of biblical places, etc. but not much use for exegesis and detailed Bible study. Anyway, that's my 2c worth.
cool. im gathering that its more of a sunday school teacher type software maybe. which i could see it serve its purpose there. and thanks for replying, i know competitive software out there is a bit weird to post about but i already have logos 4 and think its a great product. just wondering now if i teach from glo would the visual aspect help the class on sunday mornings?
