Highlight layering

I use highlights to sort Scripture into Passage Lists that I organize by topic, and occasionally, two of my highlights will overlap. When this occurs, certain colors tend to always layer on top of my other colors--when I would often prefer that another color show up on top. Is there a way to control the order in which highlight colors layer upon each other? Thanks!

I don't think we have that level of control over this. What I do - whenever I see a conflict, is to change a highlight to a different form of markup. For example, instead of having a green highlight which is conflicting with a red one, I change one of these to say ... a green underline, a green box, a green bracket, or whatever you want. This way, you eliminate conflicts where you see them, maintain clarity and the system you use is still a help to you because you created it and you know what each markup means.
