Bookmarks without WiFi
I have started using my iPad with Logos in Church but there is no Wi-Fi and I don't seem to be able to save my bookmarks. Is Wi-Fi required to save a bookmarks? I know it is required to search, but to save a bookmark? If this is correct, it really needs to be addressed as this is forcing me to using another product in Sunday School so that I can remember where I left off.

Billy,
I can't answer your question but I do have one of my own...
Does L4 download your resources locally?
How are you using L4 on the iPhone without Wifi?

Robert,
You can use Logos on iPhone/iPad with resources that you download locally. Go to the Library, select the resource and click the "Availible Offline" slider. When it is downloaded it will show a little airplane on the items that are copied local.

Bookmarks do only seem to add when you are online.
Doesn't your app automatically remember where you last were and open you up to that place?

You can download as many resources as you want/have room for locally for offline reading. It works very well.

Ahh...very very nice....(and a good reason to buy a 32gb SDHC!)

Yes it will recall your last open verse, but I go from Sunday School to Chruch and perhaps multiple verses in Church and then try to remember where I left off in my class. Not a good deal considering there is no reason I should have to. I have been using a lesser product, just so I can bookmark and serach.

I have, for that reason, and use it daily, both as E-reader and for Bible study if I don't need too many commentaries

Before Logos even remembered to open the book at the page where you had closed it, now mercifully remedied, (thank you Logos!), I used to get round it by noting the page and heading where I'd left it in the ipad Notes programme. Fiddly, but better than nothing.
