Where are margin notes in Nestle-Aland Greek NT?

I have been reading about learning more of the OT citations in the NT, and I found a resource that mentions this:
If you have a Nestle Aland Greek New Testament, you have an excellent tool for finding Old Testament citations and allusions in the New. Even if you do not read Greek, the Nestle Aland text can help you with its marginal notes and indexes. Here are some things to be aware of:
Italics in the Greek text of the New Testament mean that the words are being quoted from the Old Testament. For the source of the words, look in the outer margin for an italicized citation. For example, Mt. 2:6 is italicized; in the margin is the note: Mch 5,1.3. This means that Micah 5:1 & 5:3 in the LXX are being cited in Matthew.
Outer margin notes tell you what the authors think are Old Testament and New Testament material that might be related to the verses you are reading. For example, at Mt. 2:5, just before the quotation of Micah, in the margin of the Nestle Aland text is "J 7,42." This is a reference to John 7:42, which also mentions Bethlehem as the Messiah's birthplace.
The marginal notes do not mean to suggest direct relationships between texts. They only mean to point you to similar material elsewhere in the Old Testament or New Testament.
An Index of Old Testament citations & allusions (as well as citations and allusions to some other ancient literature) is located in the back of the Nestle Aland text, beginning on p. 770. This is arranged by Old Testament book and verse.
For example, on the first page of the index, beside Gen. 1,27 are these notes: Mt 19,4 Mc 10,6 Act 17,29 R 8,29 1 Kor 11,7 1 T2, 13. At all those places in the New Testament, Gen. 1:27 is in the background (in the judgment of the Nestle Aland editors), whether as a citation, allusion, reminiscence, or whatever. The italic type for the Matthew and Mark texts indicates that those two verses are a citation of Gen. 1:27.
I cannot find any margin notes nor index at the end. Can anyone help, are these available?

[Edit:] Sorry, should have read your post more carefully - the margin notes are only in the print edition, as far as I'm aware, not in the electrnic editions provided by Logos or the German Bible Society.

And this is the reason why I use my paper version NA-26 instead of buying the electronic copy of NA-27.

Margin notes are the reason you deny yourself the powerful search capabilities of an electronic version? That's not logical, I use both.

Well, I got both, or to be correct, all three: the print editions of NA26, NA27 and the electronic edition of NA27 included in the SESB. [:)]

NA-26 was the last print edition that could fit in a jeans back pocket or jacket pocket. I still have a pristine black leatherbound NA-26 that will find its way to my pocket when my hardbound NA-26's bite the dust. I wish they'd still make one that size. [8-|]

Well that is a bummer to be sure - I wonder if that will change with SESB 4.0 coming out? That would be a reason to purchase!

I've got one that's no longer quite pristine, but it's the one I bought when I first took Greek in the 1980's. That and the big print version. +1 on a reissue. I'd have bought a box of them if I had known they were going to discontinue them.

Jerry (or anyone else), do you know of any copyright issues associated with this pdf? I'd like to link to it on my blog. Very helpful resource to have as a pdf.

I wouldn't bet on it as I haven't heard anything from the German Bible Society regarding this issue - but I do hope so too!

The link does not work for me, it constantly is reported as connection reset, immediately. I wonder if it's being blocked? If it's freely distributable, can someone place it in the files section?

I got the link from Gary Shogren at this thread. Can't find OT quotes and allusions - Logos Bible Software Forums
If my link didn't work for you, his may not either. I have never put a pdf in the files thread, is there much to it, I am not very computer savvy?

Peace!
I had trouble getting the .pdf to load .... kept trying ..... it finally came through just when I was ready to give up.
Actually, when I couldn't get it open from Jerry's thread easily, I copied the URL, opened a new IE8 Browser window, and pasted it in...
It struggled , but finally downloaded .... maybe hosted by a very weak server?

Linking won't cause copyright issues. Copying the file into your site would require permission.
