Recently several participants have showed interest in the ancient pronunciation of Biblical Hebrew. Most grammars concentrate on the synchronic description of Tiberian Hebrew. I therefore propose a book which emphasizes the diachronic investigation of Biblical Hebrew. Namely, Phonolgy and Morphology of Biblical Hebrew by Joshua Blau edited by the late M. O. O'Connor and Cynthia L. Miller (who is very much alive) and published by Eisenbraus (Winona Lake, Indiana 2010)
This book serves as a textbook for phonology and morphology of Biblical Hebrew in Israel since the 1970's but it is also a very useful reference book which can be used by the scholar.
This book could interest both those who are linguistically oriented and those who aspire to the ipsissima verba for theological reasons.
