If you right click on the word it is displayed correctly in the menu.
It works OK for me if the Hebrew is just part of another document. Does this mean this bug applies when the document is completely in Hebrew?
It has some English sections...
It is written with a Unicode Hebrew Font.
You may want to try changing the Hebrew font in the original document to see if the compiled book will display correctly that way.
For reference, I have confirmed that the SBL Hebrew font should work and you should have access to it as it installs with Logos 4. You might try that font.
Font support is a known issue we are working on.
Tried SBL Hebrew. Doesn't work.
Did you manually type in your Hebrew text? Or copy and paste if from another location?
If you are not adverse to it, you can send me your document to test whether or not it is a problem with the document itself or an issue with the Tool. If you are willing, your file can be sent to: logos4feedback@logos.com
I sent it. It has some unpublished material. Please take care that it doesn't leak out. and thanx of course.
I sent it.
I was able to get the Hebrew characters to display when the book was compiled so I've passed your document onto a developer who is looking at it.
Please take care that it doesn't leak out
Of course. I also passed on your request for caution. [:)]
I am using Win 7 64 Bit could that be the cause?
I also have a W7 64 bit machine, so I don't think that is the issue.
I think there is also a problem with word order in mixed texts. If I define the text as Hebrew, the English words are ordered from right to left...
While I've been working with Syriac texts rather than Hebrew the issues are similar. I have found that I can get Syriac to display properly as long as I have nothing but Syriac text. If I even add a milestone tag it displays improperly. Interestingly, in this particular case it exports and prints properly. I'll be opening a different topic to present my findings later today.
Note however that I got a complete failure on Chinese within an English test.
