I can successfully add PBB books to my library but they don't seem to be searchable.
When I look at the information associated with them there are no search fields.
Are they supposed to be and - if so - how do I go about doing this?

I think (but don't know for sure) that you may have to restart Logos 4 for it to kick off indexing.

When I hover over sync icon, it says 'items waiting to be synchronized'. When I click it says it is sync, and then completes. However, when I try to search - no pleasure. Then I go back to the sync icon, and it once again says 'items waiting to be synchronized.' It is as if it is not really sync the new document. I tried closing and reopening Logos. Not pleasure.

Dave, did your restart enable searching in the PBB file? Mine did not.
Did restart enable your search within a PBB resource? Mine did not.
Restarting kicked off the indexing - which completed successfully as per log
5736.Logos4Indexer.log
However, the PBB document still doesn't return any search results

My searches have started working. Although there were no indications that sync was still running (no icons on in the task bar, and no indication with Logos) it just started working. Apparently there is a delay, or sync is not really complete. Regardless all is well now. Mistaken. The search is not working.
Sorry I jumped the gun. I had opened an old Sermon File by accident and thus found searches here. It did not find anything in the new PBB file.
