Question(s) regarding downloading new material

When I buy from the Logos website, I notice a notice down in the right hand corner, giving me the option to download. Was that done automatically at one point, or has it always been that way - we have to click on the little icon to download. 

My updates are set to "yes" on automatically download, though I'm not sure whether these two have anything in common. Will appreciate some info regarding this. Thanks!

    For Logos 4, clicking on little icon to download is optional.  Another option is update now command.  Third option is restart Logos 4.  Fourth option is wait for automatic downloads.
