Pitfalls/ Dangers of installing Beta on different Mac

I have Logos installed on two Macs. I'm considering switching to the beta channel on one of them, but am assessing the risks involved. I've read the wiki and various other bits on the forums, but I'm wondering what others have experienced. What can I expect? Any input would be appreciated. I don't want to mess up the other Mac by getting it wrong!
Thanks in advance.

I have 4.3 Beta 6 installed on my desktop (and on L4 Win under Parallels) and 4.2b-SR1 on my laptop. So far, I have not experienced any serious problems with this. I have occasionally had duplicate notes after running L4 Win, but these are easily removed with the Remove Duplicate Notes command. Make sure that you only have one installation open at a time, even if one is sleeping.

Logos 4.3 Beta 6 has Personal Book Builder (PBB) and some bugginess (fixing some bugs spans several Beta releases).
Personally have
Logos 4 Mac Stable release installed on internal hard drive partition.
On external hard drive, have latest Logos 4 Mac Beta release installed.
Holding option key while Mac boots up provides menu to choose bootable
partitions. Forum => Excluding Index from Time Machine has some partitioning ideas. If have enough free disk space, could partition internal hard drive for boot options.Caveat: when Apple releases software updates, need to update all bootable partitions.
Wiki page Logos 4 Beta Program has information and risks.

Remember it is a Beta. Sometimes things that once worked can become broke. Otherwise, have fun, and Keep Smiling [:D]
