Let me start by saying that this is curiosity, not complaint. I'm also not trying to nail Logos down on dates or promises.
With that out of the way, I'm just curious about progress on some of the projects that we know are underway:
1) We know that older resources (AYBD and others) are being re-tagged to better integrate with the larger library of resources that have become available since the older resources were first released. (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6794.aspx )
2) Work is being done on correcting typos, but last I remember hearing is that there needs to be some kind of better implementation of organizing and addressing the typo reports since the current system was never designed to handle the kind of volume it is receiving. (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/23422/174569.aspx#174569 )
3) There is work being done to bring more resources into the LCV fold to further integrate the library and further increase the usefulness of features like Biblical People, Places, and Things (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/23119/172251.aspx )
4) Reverse Interlinears are being aligned for NLT and NIV OT
I know there have been many new resources tagged with LCV, so there is definitely progress being made. I'm just curious if anyone at Logos is able/willing to share how things are coming with some of these projects? Has any progress been made on getting a new "back end" in place for the typo system? Do we know which resources are next on the priority list of LCV tagging or re-tagging in general (and is AYBD getting closer)? Is work going smoothly with the RI alignment for NLT and NIV? Are there other RIs in the pipeline for other translations?
Just to emphasize again, I'm not complaining and I'm not demanding dates or even specifics...I'm just curious. These are some of the projects that I'm most excited to see progress on at the moment and so I'm wondering about how they are coming. Even vague stuff like "typos are still on the back burner because of problems with the current system" or (better) "yes, everything is going smoothly in all these areas and you should see some fruit from these projects before 2012" would quell my curiosity (for now)
If however, there is nothing new that can be shared at this time, then I can understand and respect that as well
Thanks!
