Create a new Personal Book and add a file for the text which is not a .docx file (I used an Excel spreadsheet for example). Click Build book. There's no error message, but nothing happens apart from a repaint of the Personal Book edit panel.
I was unable to reproduce the issue, as the program now allows only .docx files to be selected. Thank you.

Testing was recently alerted to a list of posts that have not been attended to, for one reason or another. These posts range greatly in date, but we are nonetheless making an effort to be systematic about responding to these issues regardless of their age. Part of the reason for doing so is to indicate that the issue is resolved for any users who may come across this thread in the future. Ann is simply responding to a list of threads I have sent her as part of her beginning tasks as she settles into QA.
I can still select any file I want (can't select anything but .docx in the dropdown menu, but you can still type *.* in the edit box and find other files that way), but now I get an error message when I attempt to do that, so I consider this bug fixed. Thanks for getting back to me on it.
