Pre-pub order error?

I just got an email thanking me for my pre-pub order for the Vatican II Documents at $14.95.

I never ordered this. In fact, I haven't been on the Logos products pages today for quite awhile.

So I looked at my account, and sure enough, there was the order, ordered TODAY, and ready to ship 6/6/2011.

So I Edited and Cancelled/Deleted the order.

Anyone else have this happen - either just now or ever?

I also see the EEC is still in my Pre-Pub list at $699.95, even though it's also in my Order History list, too, at that price + tax = $757.70. Is this the way it's supposed to be? No other product has continued to appear in the Pre-Pub list after it's shipped to me.

I would definitely call Customer Service about the Vatican II Documents. That could have been an internal error, maybe someone else's account ID got confused with yours for an order that a person phoned in.

As for EEC, Kent Hendricks explained here why it might take a couple of days for everyone to receive their download.

I haven't got my EEC volume yet so I can't tell you how it is with me, but it might be that EEC is a new kind of pre-pub that they haven't done before. It is shipping one volume at a time. Maybe they're leaving it in our pre-pub baskets to remind us that we don't have the whole thing yet. Or maybe it's a glitch. There were some manual steps involved in shipping this product and human error could have crept in. You could ask Customer Service about that when you call about the Vatican II docs.

Double check your resources, Rosie. You might have EEC now. I kept looking at the top of my Open Pre-Pub Orders only to see it was still scheduled to ship on June 1. Looks like I probably had it in my possession for a day without even knowing it.

I wish you were right, but I look at my Library sorted by Last Updated a couple of times a day and just checked again, and it's not there. Haven't had any messages telling me it's available to download (I have "Automatically download updates" set to "No").

Mine is that way too. But I also see the first volume in my Order History.

I think the issue of appearing in both places is with the payment plan option (I chose to pay mine out over a year).

Note that this is probably temporary until they get the billing issues all sorted out in a way the web page data retrieval/display can understand.
