SUGGESTION - Greek/Hebrew Pronunciation, Word Search Function, Work for Free

When using the Interlinier Bible we should be able to right click on the greek work and have pronouncial available to us as an option.

In the find feature some times it would be nice to have a match words instead of exact frase. I have to go to Google to find the passage I want and then go back to Logos to do my research.

Add a Greek Keyboard to the Pronunciation tab so we can mouse click the letters and find the word more quickly.

I'm a computer programmer as well and if I could have access to your code (after signing any documents for confidentiality for LOGOS) I would like to help out. I live in Canada and won't be moving to the States any times soon.

You just offended against one of my pet peeves. There is nothing "for free." It may be "free", but not "for free." It's not you personally -- I hear this on the radio all the time, and I'm getting fed up with it. Sorry to jump on you, but pleeeeeeeze, no "for free."

If you have pronunciation unlocked, this should already be there. Just make sure Lemma is selected on the right-hand side of the menu. The right-click menu is a vital tool in Logos. This video may help: http://www.logos4training.com/videos/reverse-interlinears/

Use the search facility for this (not find).

Logos has Logos 4 Beta Program page; current Logos 4.3 Beta 6 has new Personal Book Builder (PBB) feature, which has opportunities for learning and programming add-ons (e.g. Word macros to check or clean up formatting for PBB creation).

By the way, was bit surprised George only growled about "for free" and left out his usual interlinear advice:

I strongly recommend hiding any interlinear that comes with whatever package you purchase. Interlinears actually prevent your learning the language.

Never use an interlinear of any type.

Forum threads have more interlinear discussion => Logos 4 Scholar's Library for newbies? and never default to the article.

I have the second largest package (Platinum) and yes it is open. But I have to either click on Strongs, copy the word and paste it in to the pronunciation feature. We should be able to right click on it and have the feature right there.

Again, search locates everything in logos as opposed to jut the book I'm looking in.

These are all nice to haves and obviously not deal breakers.

I don't object to your offer to work without pay. Blessings on you. I'm something of a linguistic nut and simply don't like the use of "for free." I have $1 bills, $5 bills, $10 bills and occasionally $20 bills (That's about as high as I go), but I don't have anything that could be called "free" with which I could pay any bill.

It works for me. Let me explain what I am doing and see if that differs from your approach.

If I open the ESV and the RI panel, I can right-click on a word (which brings up the right-click menu), ensure the lemma is selected (manuscript doesn't work) and then click the "Pronounce" option as below

I get the same results if I just right-click on the word on the English text (don't actually need to use the RI panel):

When you do this, do you not get the pronunciation?

If I understand you correctly, this can be done as well.

In the example below I have selected a phrase "I am the", then in the right-click menu chosen selection and then clicked on "search this resource"

This results in a search window as below:

If you want to restrict the search to a range in the books, you can do this by varying the "All Passages" parameter:
