I have been blessed in the recent weeks to be studying and preaching through 1 John 2 (which Logos has aided greatly to the depth of study), and more specifically verses 15-29. Specifically studying the "last times/hours" and the rise of the spirit of Antichrist specifically in regards to apostasy, false teacher/teaching and the response of true believers.
It
seems today that the truth is on trial; we extend the benefit of the doubt to
that is which is unproven, unverified, and untested; while the truth must prove itself in light of that
which accuses it of being false. We are quick to call the truth to question
while we are slow to dismiss that which stands as error. It seems relativism, skepticism and confusion are the rule of the day. And yet We have been so graciously equipped with all that we need, to know what is true, to expose what is false and to remain/abide faithful until He comes.
In these last hours may we be confident in whom we have believed, settled in the doctrine of Him who has gloriously saved us, determined to remain faithful in these days of great unfaithfulness, and grateful unto the one who enables us to stand and withstand!
I am proud (as should all brothers and sister in Christ) to be a ambassador of the Gospel of TRUTH. I am praying , as we all should be in prayer, for every Proclaimer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, whether minister or layman, as each of you contend for the Truth! May the Lord richly bless each of you!
Even so Come, Lord Jesus!
