I was wondering if there was something I could do to get L4 to incorporate my L3 user documents? Is this part of the software still in development or they won't transfer, period?
Any insight or insider knowledge?

Apart from importing the items mentioned you might suggest what others you want. But i would suggest you try the L4 Collection features rather than trying to duplicate L3 Collections. Many of us have found that we need only a handful of "dynamic" collections because search speed is not the restriction it was in L3, and resources can be tagged and rated (Star Rating) so that we can use them, plus Logos metadata (Languages, Type etc), to view resources in Library.
Dave, I have 8 years worth of daily personal, ministry and seminary notes. I NEED those to migrate to L4!
My question actually reflected a misunderstanding: I had read that a missing feature due soon was importing notes, but I read it in the light of previous forum discussions concerning the import notes feature, which concerned external notes (from another user or the internet). So, I was concerned that the installation process of L4 -- having recognized my resources -- seemingly would not recognize my user documents. After reading the entire missing features section, I understood that it meant importing L3 notes (perhaps among other things).
So, I have the answer to my question now (I think): I just need to wait.
Thanks for your reply and blessings be on you,
