I no longer have a scroll bar in NLT -- all other Bibles and books have it. Plus there are 2 arrows in the lower right corner no other books seem to have.
Ken ... are you sure you don't have columns set to '1' in your NLT tab? That produces the effect you're describing (which I use when I'm in touch-screen mode).
Try change your column setting on this resource to none by using the book drop down selection pane:
