I cannot tell you how much time and effort the idea of saving a workspace accomplishes throughout my average study time! It really feels like a time machine...I read for hours, stop, save it all under a heading and come back to that precise moment in time at any later moment whenever time permits. Outstanding!
I have run into a snag, though. Along my studies, I often time find myself with intersections of study material between workspaces. For instance, on the one hand, I have a study going in Eric Eve's outstanding book, The Jewish Context of Jesus' Miracles, which has prompted a plethora of other resources which supplement it well. That workspace is saved. And my second study is comprised of "the miraculous in the world of the NT writers" which, obviously ended up with many overlaps.
My question is this...do we have any way of combining these workspaces? opening all of the resources from both of the at once in a final, all-in-one, workspace? or am I just stuck with having to record all the resources from one, closing it completely, and then reopening all those same resources in the next? not that that is a terrible fate or anything, but if the former can be done, clearly it would negate the need for the latter and save time.
Either way, this software has become the cornerstone of all my biblical study, and with the addition of Runge's Discourse materials, (and the petition for inclusion of Dr. Levinsohn's as well), God's Word has never revealed its powerful impact on a level such as this!
