Copy search result references

Hello All,

 

I am in my first exegesis class in seminary right now and both I and the professor are really pushing Logos as the best solution for this process.  However, I have come accross somethign that I actually can't figure out and I suspect it is just not possible but would love to be proven wrong. 

 

In the other two major softwares you can copy the search results as just references and then quickly paste that group of references into another document.  Is this possible in Logos?

EDIT: Note that the screenshots here are from the Windows version, but the steps should work pretty much the same on the Mac version.

In Logos, the way to do this is choose Save as Passage List from the Search Results panel menu:

Then in the Passage List, click Compact (as opposed to Full) to view only the references not the text:

Then choose Print/Export from the Passage List panel menu, and Copy to Clipboard from the Print/Export dialog:

It's a couple more steps perhaps than what it takes in other software, but all these intermediate stages have other powerful things you can do with them too, so they are part of the flow of using Logos. Maybe someday they will let us view the search results in compacted format (just the verse references) thus bypassing the Passage List step. And maybe someday they will let us Copy directly from the PL when it's in compacted mode and have that copy just the references, but currently it does not. So the only way I could find to do what you wanted is this multi-stage process.
