When viewing a resource in column view, the resource will periodically revert to a single column. I noticed a similar post in another forum [http://community.logos.com/forums/p/30396/224974.aspx#224974 ] but didn't know if it was the same issue or not. This happens to me most often when I come to a new book in a bible resource.
It does look like this is a similar issue to the one in the forum thread you cited.
Here it seems the behavior is occurring because the Biblical book titles are being kept on one line rather than being hyphenated, which will change the column number to accommodate.
Therefore, the issue is relative to the size of the panel/text display and the length of the book title. From your screen shot, it looks like you've got the text size set fairly large, which would be the reason it pops back to one column when hitting 'Leviticus' since that title would not fit in a two column view with how you've got your layout setup. Decreasing the text size or increasing the panel size should prevent this behavior if you find if particularly bothersome. So would only scrolling into books like Job. [;)]
