PBB Bug: My Books seach is never hidden

If you restrict your search to a particular resource or collection, "My Books" should be hidden (unless of course there are PBBs in the collection).

Actually, it would be better just to merge this section into the Library Results section. If PBBs are really equal to normal Logos books, they should be indexed equally so they can find their own place in rankings. You could always create an automatic collection of PBBs or list them along with "Entire Library" and "All Open Resources" if you felt it was necessary to distinguish them in some way.

I agree. It might be useful for Beta testing but results from Personal book and Library indexes should be merged into the Library section.

EDIT: the other aspect is that a PB Index would be unnecessary with a read-only licence i.e. PBB's will be put in the Library Index (and in Bible Index if full-function Bibles are allowed!).

I'll add that I could live with separate indexes initially, so long as the merge indexes command was re-introduced. I can understand from performance reasons why you might want to have a separate index when building PBB books.

Are you envisaging a Merge command between the PB Index and the other indexes e.g. Merge PB Index with Library, as an automatic merge is performed within the PB Index? The PB Index would seem to be necessary for rapidly building PBB books but I would not like to see it with a read-only licence as this has implications for the status of PBB books vs. Logos resources.

Having a separate index might also make things simpler if we ever get delete for PBB books.

If the PB Index is used only to build PBB's (i.e. downloaded PBB's will be indexed in the Library and/or Bible Index) then Delete would be a straightforward way to remove "test" or "unsuccessful" books. Once distributed would other users be able to Hide them and would their creator be able to Delete them?
