Android and Nook

I am a HTC Evo user. I love it. I am wondering, just guesses, if it looks like the Android app will be out in the next year? Also, we are getting a NOOK Color. It runs off the Android system, with B&N regulating the apps. Does anyone know if the NOOK will be compatible with the upcoming Android Logos app? I am assuming Vyrso will follow the Logos Android apps soon? Anyway, any clarification on these subjects would be great. Thanks.

I have no inside knowledge, but suspect that Logos would only release it through the Android market--the one-off app stores would be a lot of trouble to attempt to support.  However, the good news is that the Nook Color can be made to boot the normal & latest version of Android from a fast MicroSDHC card.  This ability to be a useful tablet in the event B&N folds is why I bought it.  Perhaps not as convienient as having it as a B&N app, but it would be an acceptable work-around, with a $50 investment for a fast (6 or larger speed) and modestly sized MicroSDHC card.
