When Logos is reading the books, the text is not scrolling along. Is this a design, or a bug?

It is my understanding that the Bible resources scroll by verse. When I use this feature, if a verse starts at the end of a page, it will not advance until the next verse begins. On the other hand, some resources appear to advance by page, or in your case, by chapter. I don't know if it was purposefully designed to do it this way, but that appears to be how it works.
This is a limitation in the current Read Aloud implementation that we plan to fix in a future version of the software. (See also http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/860717-improve-reading-aloud.)
