Searchable Notes?

Is there a way to Search notes in the Search Pane?

I would like to Search all notes within a particular Note File Heading, and get a result list containing all scriptures with notes attached under that particular heading. For Example, If I have a Note File titled "Promises" and I go through the Old Testament and tag notes to each promise scripture given, Can I search "Promises" note file and have all of these "tagged" scriptures show up as a result list in the Search Pane? Didn't mean to repeat myself

Unfortunately one can only search notes with a search entire library - something a number of people have requested be changed. [Y]

Douglas, I'm not sure I'm understanding exactly what you're asking
about since you are using your own unique nomenclature for things
("heading", "attached", "tagged").

But I think what you're trying to do is actually not search your Notes file, but get a list of the Bible verses that have "Promises" notes associated with them. Do you want just the Scripture references, or the Bible text for those references as well? I'm assuming the latter.

If that's it, then it's a cinch! Use the "Save as Passage List" command on the panel menu of the Notes file:

Say, for example, that this is my Promises notes file:

Mine's really short because I just created it for this purpose to show you an example. Notice that the verses these notes are attached to are Exodus 3:12 and Hebrews 6:13 (you can see the verse references in blue).

Now I click the icon in the upper left to drop down the panel menu and choose "Save as Passage List".

This will produce a Passage List that (I think) is just what you're looking for:
