Re: Busy Weekend...
Love what you've all done Dave! Thank-you's to EVERYONE at Logos!
Per your current functionality... I did access my entire library via Android. I did download 79 of those books:
1) 6 of my favorite Bible versions
2) The NIV Commentary set on O. & N. Testaments
3) Some of my go-to Dictionaries and Culturo-Historical books
All downloaded flawless, are accessible in Airplane Mode, and yesterday, during the sermon, I used my Android App Bible to read from. At 55, I either need to purchase a large print bible for pulpit work, or get some reading glasses (I'm just not ready for either of those yet!) But even on the smart phone, the Bible was clearly and easily readable and navigation between references is quicker than page turning "the Book".
I'm getting a 7" Android Tablet, the Galaxy Tab I will use for all my Kindle books and Logos Android Library and planning on using it for my main sermon Bible.
While tablets can never approach the functionality of Logos on an actual computer, I'm looking forward to letting a light, hand-held tablet be my go-to device in certain teaching scenarios and for attending various lectures and classes where I want access to a number of books quickly, but don't need the full-functionality or any wireless connection.
So far so good! Can't wait for the features Dave just revealed are on the way but honestly, if you guys did NOTHING more for Android than you've already done, I'd be happy as a clam. (overstatement, but you know what I mean).
)
God bless and thanks again!
