Download notification not "dismissable"

After installling the Logos Beta I downloaded a couple of Bibles - ESV & NRSV.

After downloading the first one, there was a notification to say that the download had been successful.

Normally I can dismiss these types of notifications (similar to those I get when updating an app) but in this case, I can't see a way to do so.

When I downloaded the second one, the notification was updated with the new download time but still not dismissable.

Is there anything I can do to affect this or is this a current issue?

This is on an HTC Desire HD running Android 2.3.3

Confirmed here as well Graham, I had to use the "clear" button on the notification bar to get rid of the download notification.
