PBB: How to retain bullet points while compiling?

(We need a separate forum just for PBB testing.)

My question: how can I get the PBB compiler to recognize bullet points? Do I need to apply a certain style? Just bulleting text in MS Word doesn't seem to work.

One of the known PBB issues listed in the B7 release notes is that "Lists lose their bullets and numbers"

FYI, as a work-around, I got a bullet list in my PBB books by manually inserting the bullet characters instead of using Word's bulleting.
