BUG in Prioritization?

I was watching Mark Barnes' excellent video on Prioritization, and i realized that I have two resources that are at the top of my topics "Look it Up" section no matter what I do. See attached graphic; notice I have put ISBE at the very top of my priority list, but it shows up third - after "Illustrated Manners and Customs of the Bible" and "Every Man in the Bible".

Is this a bug, something I have configured wrong, or something else?

Hi Dominick,

i see that you have the ISBE setup with Advanced Prioritization to be used with the ESV. Since you are using Search, this prioritization is being ignored.

you might take a look at this wiki example: Example 2: prioritizing a specific dictionary to a specific resource

i cannot see more of your prioritized list. But if you added the ISBE without advanced prioritization to the top of your list and re-run the search you would see the ISBE at the top in your search (Topic section).

This is one of those special Searches, L4 sets this up using LCV (see About Topic Search)

In some form our priorities are also used. (But your adv prior. will only use ISBE when inside the ESV).

Thanks Steve, I'll look at the topic search article to see if that helps. But you have confused me, I do not have ISBE set up for advanced prioritization, it is on the top line by itself? I think that is true also because when I moved it there it went from lower in my list (my other Encyclopedias are near the bottom), and so ISBE went up to third.

Logos goes form top to bottom, so if a general prioritization is first it should use it. That's why specific/advanced prioritizations have to be placed above them else they will never be used.

So does topic search imply these other two resources are first no matter what? I'll see what it says.

Yes it's a bug that's been around for several months. Melissa confirmed it here:

Please forgive me, when i viewed your image i misunderstood and thought that it had Adv. Prior. applied to it. Thus all the striked through text in my edited reply.

It appears that way to me. i only have one of your 2 items and it is not prioritized in my library. i am guessing that this has to do with the LCV.

You are quiet correct. Looking at my results, after the 1st item in topics, they all follow my prioritization. Like you said from top to bottom.
