UI questions and suggestions
After playing around with it for a bit i Have some ideas
1. Why not when starting the app it goes to a menu system ( think double twist music player) you could have library( like the current view), bible( which would open up to your default version) and maybe another button for passage guide etc... Opening up to the library first just doesnt work for me I don't always want to use my library sometimes i just want my bible
2. Have an option to scroll up instead of just side scroll . i keep swiping down excepting it to scroll and it doesnt work frustrating.
3. Pressing the bottom of the screen for more options took me a while to figure out ( i kept pressing the menu button looking for options like all other android apps keep there options). And on the Xoom it hard to bring up those options at the bottom, it keeps bring up the keyboard.
Thats a good start I think the menu is a must though

I agree, a menu would be very helpful. It takes a long time just to open a Bible.

I'd like to see something like this too...although I don't know if there are better ideas (maybe the iOS version already has something nice)
I definitely think that just opening up to my library without a definite "starting point" is less than attractive.

The iOS has a home page with reading plans, updates, free book preview etc. My guess is this is coming for Android.

But it is incredibly efficient. I personally don't mind at all. I do like the iOS start page as well (although it too could be spruced up stylistically)
