Collins English Dictionary Harper Collins Publisher
I purchased this resource years ago via cd rom with Collins Thesaurus and Collins Quotation Finder. I just realized that the resource files are still in the old .lsf and .lix formats. Is this as it should be or is there an .lbxlls updated file? I looked on the ftp site and could not find sa_cded* which is the name of the file I have now.

Is this the Collins English Dictionary, 8th edition? If so the filename is CLLENGDIC8.lbxlls

It is the Collins English Dictionary published by Harper Collins and the title page says fourth edition, updated 2000, so I guess the lbxlls file doesn't replace the lsf file. But, thanks for the help, Todd.

I furnished Logos the files to the fourth edition a few months back, with the hopes they would upgrade the file. I still haven't seen an update.

I have the Collins Thesaurus of the Bible and it's a .logos4 file format, from 2010-01-11.

I'll call CS and ask if the newer edition is available to those with an older edition of Collins English Dictionary. It seems that sometimes newer editions have to be purchased all over again. I don't know if this holds true in every case. But, I will find out on this one.

Logos should be able to furnish me with the 5 Collins items I originally had in Logos.

I did ask but I forgot to post the exact answer I received. And now I have forgotten it altogether but I am pretty sure I didn't get any updated files. Next time I have to call CS, I can ask again. Unless there is someone from Logos who is reading this and would like to provide clarification here. Thanks!
