Bug: Library change not reflected in the PB Tool

When creating a PB the Abbreviated Title I gave it appears in Library and can be changed via Information. But the PB Tool continues to display the original Abb Title. If I then change the PB Abb Title it remains in the tool but is not reflected in the Library.

I would suggest that labels be added to the fields in the PB Tool for clarity and that the Add Field drop-down does not list fields already displayed.

I'm not sure this is a bug. The PBB window lists files being edited, the Library lists files that are compiled. They don't necessarily match, nor should they. I can imagine a situation where I create a PBB, and happily use it, whilst at the same time continue to refine it in Word/Logos before much later rebuilding it. During that process, it will look different in the two areas of Logos. That's as it should be.

I can imagine a situation where I create a PBB, and happily use it, whilst at the same time continue to refine it in Word/Logos before much later rebuilding it.

The refinement can be enjoyed in Word but I'm not sure how you enjoy it in Logos without rebuilding it; which then changes the existing Library resource.

I think it is OK after checking catalog.db. The PB tool displays the resource Title and Abb. Title, whilst Library displays the user Title and Abb. Title. Because I previously changed the Abb. Title in Library that is what it will show, whilst catalog.db reflects the new resource Abb. Title from the PB Tool. As there is no user Title, Library will display the resource Title from the PB tool!

Yes, that's what happens with normal resources after a metadata update (if you've changed title or short title your changes are preserved, but if you haven't you get the new title/short title). So it's not a bug [:)].
