Order resources in a collection
Any way to change the order of resources that appear in a collection? Thanks!

Do you mean the order they appear in the collections window? You can click on the column headings to sort by the different column types, just like in the library window.

I'm using a collection for all Greek MSS and then using that with the text comparison tool when examining the variants of a particular text. I would like to have all Byzantine MSS together and then all Alexandrian together. Also, the first MS to appear in the collection window is considered the base text for text comparison and I would like to change that as well.

Unfortunately prioritizing within collections isn't possible. You can create the order you want (base edition first) by entering the abbreviations for the texts you want to compare in the Text Comparison Tool (I'd do this with Text Comparison in a floating window). The tool will remember your 'recent' entries so you won't have to reenter them if you don't change them often. However, to make sure you don't lose them, drag the small tab on the Text Comparison Tool to Favorites. Once in Favorites the Tool will remember your settings, so you'll only have to do it once, as long as you launch the tool from Favorites. You can then drag from Favorites to the Menu Bar to create a shortcut link to the exact set of comparisons you want. You can even rename the listing in Favorites so you can remember what it is more easily.

I don't have those Greek MSS resources, but it appears to me that the Text comparison tool shows the resources in alphabetical order (as I ascertained by choosing my English Bibles collection as the list of resources to compare). You can rename resources in your library by editing their title in the info panel. So you could edit the names of all your Greek MSS and put a prefix on them to make sure they get alphabetized the way you want them shown.

If one were to rename the Greek MSS resources, would the "linkage" to and from other resources still continue to work???

Yes, everything would still work. The title of a book is just a textual ornamentation as far as the software is concerned, but convenient for human readability. It does not make any difference to the internal representation of the resource, which is a unique ID that we cannot change at all. You'll find it in the info panel of a resource, under Support Info:
I could rename my NA27 to "The Cat in the Hat" if I wanted to, and it would not make any difference to the functioning of the program, links into it or text comparisons, etc. Of course everywhere in the program that displayed its title would show it as "The Cat in the Hat" instead, but it would still work.
