What happened to my Collections?

I just recently crossed over to Logos 3.  I LOVE it....except.....
When I transferred over, all my personalized collections disappeared!  For example a had created a collection specifically for searching all my theological journals.  Its gone.
So, 2 questions:

1.  is there a way to "get back" my collections?

2. where is a link or article giving detailed advise for creating collections under Logos 3? It seems more confusing than before.

thanks.

    1. Logos 4 collections are built differently than Logos 3 collections, and they can't be imported from Logos 3.

However, Logos 4 collections are more powerful than Logos 3 (and easier to build, IMO), since you can use a rule to define the collection and have resources added automatically (although you can also add them individually, if you choose).

For example, you can create a new collection and tell it to use all resources that are type:journal, and it will automatically include all of your journals without having to add them individually.  Plus, any future journals you get will automatically become a part of the collection.

    2. Here are the various pages and videos about creating Logos4 collections:

Logos help page on collections (includes link to Logos' collection video): http://www.logos.com/L4/training/collections
Logos wiki page on collections: http://wiki.logos.com/Collections
Mark Barnes' videos on collections: http://www.logos4training.com/other-videos/collections-and-prioritising/#desc-8118581

Hopefully those will answer your questions, but if they don't, ask here!
