Wish there were a way of editing our own (older) posts when we want to go back and fix mistakes
Sadly we only have about 10 hours before the software locks the post for further edits. I believe this was done to prevent someone from changing a post causing embarrassment for follow up posters. But then I may be guessing from a poor memory on that.
I seem to remember this. my motivation is not to cause embarrassment for other posters, only (selfishly speaking) to free myself of any time-stamped and date postings. Whether in a rush amidst much cutting and pasting / or simply a temporary lapse - our blunders, typos, etc. are etched into the cement of a World Wide Web. ouch!!
