L4 indexing times as per computer

I've noticed there's lots of people here wondering how long indexing will take on their computer. I thought those of us who have L4 now setup could list how long indexing took on our machines, what our computer specs are and what package we have. Perhaps will give others an idea of how long it will take for them.

I'll start

I upgraded to Gold - I had the old version of Gold in L3.

Lenovo SL500 2.5gig dual core duo, T9400processor, nVidia9300 graphicscard, 4 Gig DDr2 Ram.

Took about three hours to index, initally said 1hr 20 minutes. 984 resources

AMD X264 3800+, 4GB ram.

With almost 3000 resources took about 15 hours.

I too am concerned about indexing. I have yet to see my L4 complete an index session after the initial install.

I upgraded to Portfolio from Scholars in L3.

Toshiba Satallite A135; Pentium Dual-Core T2080 @ 1.73 GHz. w/ 2GB Ram, 32 bit Windows Vista /SP2 and 110 GB HD with 15GB free.

The portfolio with some additional purchases = 2, 892 resources.

It initialy took 18 hours to index (this is the actual time not the reported time.) Subesquent indexing continues to fail after about 7 hours.

I have enabeld logging although I'm not quite sure where to send it.

Start a new thread with a title like "Indexer keeps failing" and upload the indexer logs with that post. See: http://wiki.logos.com/Uploading_Logs for directions.

Platinum, 2272 resources, about an hour, after threatening me with 30 hours.

Specs below, but I also have a 2Gb SD chip permanently installed & entirely allocated for use with Vista's native Readyboost. Having already noticed that this chip cut my backup times from 6hr to 2hr, I figure I;m getting a solid boost on indexing, too... Reading Vista's documentation, it suggests that max boost can be had by installing 1-3 times your total RAM installed... I've only got 1/2 my total RAM available to Readyboost, so I wonder what'd happen if I picked up a bigger chip...
