I have been using OliveTree and Laridian's Bible readers for several years on Palms, Windows and the iPhone. They are great resources. However, I was greatly impressed by the Logos free app for iPhone and Ipad. But it is a lot of money. I am not saying that it is overpriced, but do I need the power? Here's a few questions thatmay be able to help me decide - can you help?
- If I buy the Scholars bundle, will everything there be available on both my PC and my iPad and iTouch?
- Does Logos have plans for the NABRE bible?
- I could not see any Notes function on my iTouc. Any news when this is coming?
- What's "community pricing"? There is one title that is community pricing. What pricing and when can it be purchased (it's the Catholic Encyclopedia).
- Does Logos have plans for the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible NT?
- Are there any demos or screen shots of Kittel on the iPad / iTouch. I would love to see what it gives you.
- How do foot notes show up. For example the NAB has commentary notes in it. In Laridian they are in-line. In Olivetree they have a footnote number, hit it and a pop-up box comes up, or it opens in the main window or split window (user definable). How does Logos handle such things? I cannot tell with the free version.
Thanks for any help that you can give.
Richard.
