Beta Install Issues

Two days ago, I installed the 4.3 Beta 8 into a different folder but under the same user account on my 2009 MBP. My hope was to be able to play with syntax searching on the beta, which I understand to be somewhat improved from the current release version. Now...my production version (in the Applications Folder) can't log in....it launches, comes to the login and just sits there spinning with the login message. The beta can log in, which was fortunate because I discovered this just as I was settling in to write my sermon last night. What have I broke and how can I fix it?
Thanks and mia clupa.

Short answer: to use Logos 4 Mac stable and beta version on same Mac, need different Mac user accounts (for stable and beta Logos 4 folders). Installing 4.3 Beta 8 upgraded database and index files so stable version can no longer use them.
Option: wiki page => Quick Installation onto Multiple Macs could be helpful; can create a Mac user to use Logos 4 Mac stable version in Applications folder. The new Mac user can use same Logos.com account as Beta Mac user.
Note: since discussing Mac Beta issue, Logos may move this thread to Mac Beta forum.

Now I see (said the blind man). I'll try to untangle the two versions and make sure the beta is installed under a different user account. Thanks for the help....I'm smiling [:)].

If run into issue(s) untangling, can reply for more discussion.
One option is creating another Mac user for stable version (alternative if beta bugginess too much). Not know when to expect next Beta update; typically 2 weeks, however, last 2 Beta's have been a week apart.
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Want to downgrade from Beta to Stable section includes couple transition commands.
